Master of the halfpipe and burn Unit Arthur Longo went big at the X Games this week, coming in at a triumphant second place in the SuperPipe contest in Tignes, France. Described in an X Games report as “the clear crowd favorite” of the competition, Longo’s performance included an impressive “Cab 1080 Indy grab, frontside 900, backside 720 tail grab, alley-oop backside rodeo 1080 frontside grab and alley-oop backside rodeo 540”. It was an extremely tight finish as Longo came in at 92 points, just behind Loui Vito’s 92.66, clear of bronze winner Taku Hiraoka’s 86 points.
